The Philippines is located near the equator. That being the case, it means the Philippines is a tropical country. When we hear the world tropical, it reminds us of beaches, sunset, and the perfect vacation place. Well. The Philippines has it all.
There are only two seasons in the Philippines, the rainy and the dry season. The rainy season usually starts from June and ends at October, the rest is the dry season. The Philippines also is a host to several storms in a year, nevertheless, normal things are nothing major.
During summer in the Philippines, tourists flock the beaches- especially the famous Boracay. Surfing during summer is also a favorite activity. Beaches in the north are the most active spots for surfing. Places like La Union and Siargao are the favorite surfing destinations among others.
